Victor Santos teaches Computer Science at a high school in Porto Rico. Suddenly he is blackmailed to support a rebel group's ambitious agenda of overthrowing the government and breaking away from the USA. An added incentive is his infatuation with a beautiful rebel leader, Adrianna Carrion.
Adrianna Carrion is a ranking officer in the Elercito Popular Boricua, a rebel organization ready to fight for their countries independence. But is she loyal to the cause or really a double agent for the USA?
Victor has the one thing the rebel organization needs to succeed. He is a computer genius who doesn't appreciate his own expertise. He is the key player who can unleash the audacious rebel plan to stop the USA before they can be engaged to quell the rebel uprising.
Forgotten Colony is fast paced with an extraordinary number of intense conflicts. Victor is constantly chased, shot at and beaten in his quest to separate the good guys from the bad. With specialized military training, he evolves from a frightened, weak kneed observer to become a full fledged, competent revolutionary with a surprising future before him.
General editing and sentence structure require extensive professional help. There are missing, extra, misspelled and wrong words plus sentence arrangement makes many difficult to understand without a second or third reading. Missing and extra periods are also problematic. These are simple errors that a competent professional editor can easily correct.
Character development for the three main characters is good.
Details are adequate.
In depth research of Porto Rico's history is evident.(or created by the author)
The plot is intriguing and fast paced.
The writing style held my interest but is extremely wordy and often repetitious.
